Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SnapSell (snap-sell.com). By using SnapSell, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What SnapSell Does

SnapSell helps you create marketplace listings. You upload a photo of an item you want to sell, and our AI generates a listing with a title, description, suggested price, and tags optimized for platforms like eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Etsy, Amazon, and others. Our paid tier also generates AI product photos.

AI-Generated Content

This is important:

• All listings, price suggestions, descriptions, tags, and AI product photos are generated by artificial intelligence.
• AI-generated content may contain errors. Prices may be inaccurate. Descriptions may be incomplete or incorrect.
• You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before posting it on any marketplace.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.
• AI-generated product photos are artificial images, not real photographs of your item. Using them on marketplaces is your decision and your responsibility.

Your Account

• You must be at least 18 years old to use SnapSell.
• You can use the free tier without an account (1 text listing per day, tracked by IP address). Creating a free account increases this to 3 text listings per day.
• To purchase credits or access paid features, you need an account.
• You can sign in with email and password, or with a third-party provider: Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Facebook. Using a third-party provider is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You can delete your account at any time from your account settings.

Free Tier

• 1 text listing per day without an account (tracked by IP address).
• 3 text listings per day with a free account.
• We may adjust free tier limits at any time.

Paid Credits and Payments

• Credits are purchased through Polar (our payment processor, built on Stripe).
• Available credit packs: Starter Pack (CAD $4.99 for 20 credits), Pro Pack (CAD $14.99 for 100 credits), and Unlimited Text subscription (CAD $6.99/month). All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).
• Credit usage: 1 credit = 1 text listing, 3 credits = 1 AI photo set. Unlimited Text subscribers use 0 credits per text listing; AI photos still cost 3 credits each.
• Credits do not expire.
• Subscription plans renew automatically. You can cancel at any time; your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period.
• Refunds: Credits that have been used are non-refundable. If you experience a service issue (e.g., an AI failure that consumed a credit), contact us at [email protected] and we may issue bonus credits at our discretion.
• We reserve the right to change pricing. Existing purchased credits will not be affected by price changes.

Referral Program

• Every authenticated user is assigned a unique referral code (e.g., SNAP-K3X9), visible on their account page.
• When a referred user makes their first paid purchase of CAD $4.99 or more, both the referrer and the referred user receive +10 credits each. This reward is one-time per referred user.
• You can enter a referral code at signup (via a shared link) or on your account page, but only before your first paid purchase.
• Self-referral is not allowed. Attempts to abuse the referral program (sock-puppet accounts, fraudulent signups, etc.) will result in account suspension and forfeiture of credits.
• We may adjust referral reward amounts or terminate the program at any time, with notice for active participants.

Acceptable Use

Don't use SnapSell to:

• Generate listings for illegal items or services.
• Upload photos you don't have the right to use.
• Upload photos of people. SnapSell is for product photos only.
• Generate listings for weapons, drugs, or controlled substances.
• Generate listings for messaging services, dating services, or anything that could produce sexual or inappropriate content.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the service.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service.
• Reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the service.

We use automated content moderation to detect prohibited uploads. Uploads that are flagged will be rejected.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Your Photos and Content

• Your photos remain yours. You retain all rights to photos you upload.
• Generated listings are yours to use. The AI-generated text, tags, and product photos are yours to use however you like (post on marketplaces, edit, share, etc.).
• By uploading a photo, you grant us a temporary license to process it through our AI service for the purpose of generating your listing. This license ends when processing is complete.
• We do not store your photos after processing. We do not use your photos to train AI models.

Intellectual Property

• SnapSell's branding, design, and code are our property.
• You may not copy, modify, or redistribute SnapSell itself.
• The AI-generated content you create through SnapSell is yours.

Limitation of Liability

SnapSell is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

• We are not responsible for losses from inaccurate AI-generated prices, descriptions, or content.
• We are not responsible for how you use the generated listings on third-party marketplaces.
• We are not responsible for marketplace policy violations resulting from AI-generated content or photos.
• Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

Service Availability

• We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
• We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
• If we discontinue the service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice and refund any unused purchased credits.

Termination

• You can stop using SnapSell at any time. You can delete your account from account settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.
• Upon termination, your account data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date. For account holders, we may also notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with applicable US law.
